Deep-sea methane-seep sediment, Agilent QTOF acquisition seep_064-1 (paper 7.5)
phalaena:sample:PA-S-7-5-seep-064-1
One Agilent QTOF LC-MS acquisition (seep_064-1.mzML) of deep-sea methane-seep sediment from the 2023 Frontiers in Marine Science deposit (MassIVE MSV000090543). Methane seeps host chemosynthetic microbial communities, so the sediment metabolome is a complex environmental matrix rather than a defined organism or tissue. We use this file as one member of a four-file slice that is the first environmental sample in the validation corpus. The source ships pre-converted mzML, so the file enters the feature-finding chain directly with no RAW_TO_MZML step. This acquisition reported 12,965 features in the run's summary/summary.json.
