The second of two replicates from Schmidt 2016, the quantitative and condition-dependent E. coli K-12 proteome (PRIDE PXD000498). Whole-cell E. coli K-12 lysate acquired by data-dependent, label-free shotgun LC-MS/MS on a Thermo Orbitrap. Part of the first prokaryote proteomics slot in the validation corpus, searched against the compact E. coli K-12 reference proteome (UP000000625, about 4,400 entries). The input is staged as mzML, so the run reports raw_to_mzml: { ran: false, input_format: "mzml" } and the ThermoRawFileParser branch is bypassed.
