SRR6410618, blood total RNA-seq (rRNA depletion), paired-end (paper 3.4)
phalaena:sample:PA-S-3-4-srr6410618
An rRNA-depletion (total RNA-seq) preparation of human whole-blood RNA from the Zhao 2018 library-prep methods comparison, paired-end Illumina NextSeq 500 reads. Paired with SRR6410617 as the two total-RNA samples in the Phalaena four-run slice; the polyA+ (mRNA-seq) counterparts are SRR6410613 and SRR6410614. This is the replicate total-RNA sample in the bulk RNA-seq pipeline's first library-prep contrast: rRNA depletion removes ribosomal RNA and retains the rest of the transcriptome, so against a polyA-oriented transcriptome it is expected to map differently from the polyA preparation. On the Wave-3 run this sample mapped at 84.60 percent against GENCODE v46; see the run record for the contrast and the head-subset caveat.
