SRR6410613, blood mRNA-seq (polyA+ selection), paired-end (paper 3.4)
phalaena:sample:PA-S-3-4-srr6410613
A polyA+ (mRNA-seq) preparation of human whole-blood RNA from the Zhao 2018 library-prep methods comparison, paired-end Illumina NextSeq 500 reads. Paired with SRR6410614 as the two polyA samples in the Phalaena four-run slice; the rRNA-depletion (total RNA-seq) counterparts are SRR6410617 and SRR6410618. We use this sample as one half of the bulk RNA-seq pipeline's first library-prep contrast: polyA+ selection retains mature polyadenylated mRNA, so against a polyA-oriented transcriptome it is expected to map differently from the rRNA-depleted preparation. On the Wave-3 run this sample mapped at 31.49 percent against GENCODE v46; see the run record for the contrast and the head-subset caveat.
