A C57BL/6J striatum replicate from the Bottomly 2011 strain-contrast study, single-end 36 bp Illumina reads against the mouse GRCm39 reference. One of two C57BL/6J samples (with SRR099231) in the Phalaena four-sample slice; the DBA/2J arm is SRR099233 and SRR099234. We use this sample in the bulk RNA-seq pipeline's single-end branch verification: SE Salmon quant requires a supplied fragment-length distribution (--fldMean / --fldSD) because a single mate cannot infer it. This is one of the four samples that validated the SE-branch fix (validation finding #2).
