The untreated (vehicle control) sample of the Himes 2014 dexamethasone study, primary human airway smooth muscle cells from donor cell line N080611, paired-end Illumina reads against GRCh38. Paired with SRR1039509 (the dexamethasone-treated counterpart from the same cell line) as the two-sample Phalaena validation slice. We use this sample as one half of the bulk RNA-seq pipeline's well-behaved paired-end verification case: it maps cleanly at the rate pinned in MANIFEST.json (94.07 percent) and runs to completion within the fixed wall budget.
