An untreated control library (GSM461178, S2_DRSC_Untreated-4) from the Brooks 2011 pasilla knockdown study, Drosophila melanogaster S2-DRSC cells, paired-end Illumina Genome Analyzer II reads (74 bases per spot, two 37 bp reads). The Wave 2 manifest and this record called it a pasilla knockdown; ENA's run report (2026-10-22) lists it as untreated, so the Phalaena four-run slice holds no knockdown sample. Its paired-end layout is half of the bulk pipeline's mixed-layout check (PE and SE rows in one run). The Wave 2 run quantified it against the default human transcript index, not the BDGP6 reference (see the run record).
