NA12878 (Coriell CEU female) from the 1000 Genomes Project high-coverage 30x re-sequencing release produced by the New York Genome Center (NYGC), one Illumina NovaSeq PE150 run subset to a single FASTQ pair (~3 GB compressed; MANIFEST.json slot 1.3 notes). This is the third short-read verification slot. Where paper 1.1 (GIAB HG002) is a deliberately low-coverage end-to-end smoke and paper 1.2 (Platinum NA12878) is a different individual on older chemistry, this slot exercises the modern NovaSeq read distribution at a coverage closer to a production WGS sample. The run that consumed it (PA-R-1-3-wave2-2026-05-09) is the slot that re-validated GATK retry idempotency, the BWA-MEM1 index patch, and the g2-standard-16 host-RAM fix on the GPU stack.
