HG002 GIAB, Illumina HiSeq 2500 PE150 (paper 1.1)

GIAB Ashkenazi son (NA24385 / HG002), one Illumina HiSeq 2500 lane of PE150 short reads. 11.2 million paired reads (~2.6 GB compressed), about 0.5x coverage of the human genome (MANIFEST.json slot 1.1 notes). We use this sample as the canonical end-to-end verification input for the genomics short-read pipeline: it runs to completion in a fixed wall window, exercises every stage, and the expected summary headlines are pinned in MANIFEST.json so a regression in mapping rate or variant count surfaces immediately. It is not sized for a full variant truth-set comparison; for that we run paper 1.3 (1KGP NA12878 30x) or the full GIAB benchmark on demand.
