Wave 3 gap-fill run of paper 1.4 (GIAB HG005, the Han Chinese trio son, NA24631). One Illumina HiSeq 2500 PE149 run, end-to-end through the genomics short-read variant-discovery flow, completing in 3 h 1 min wall clock. SUCCESS at 01:36:08Z on 2026-06-10 (run id d7762306). This is the first East-Asian-ancestry short-read slot in the validation corpus. The run mapped 99.5 percent of reads and called 1,469,090 variants (1,294,920 SNPs / 174,291 indels), a fuller variant-discovery exercise than the deliberately low-coverage HG002 smoke (paper 1.1).
